DURANT, Okla. – The Southeastern Oklahoma State men's tennis program recorded 18 total wins over two days at the Savage Storm Invitational, including 13 singles wins and five doubles victories. SE ended the weekend 13-8 in singles matches and 5-3 in doubles contests.
"We had the best tournament of the fall season so far for the men. It was great to see the men pick up 18 individual wins and win three out of the nine flights," head coach
Brian Nelson said. "This was a great event as we had our first home invite, so it was really nice to play at home. We look forward to improving on this and taking on the GAC teams in two weeks in the conference individual tournament," said Nelson.
Luis Ching and Alejandro Gonzalez both went 3-0 in singles matches and would win flight 4 and 6 championships, respectively. Ching would also earn a flight 3 doubles championship after going 2-0 in doubles matches with partner
Luke Tinnock.
Eric Poindexter went 2-1 in flight 5 to pick up a third-place finish and would also see a third-place finish in the flight 2 doubles with partner
David Palomares with a 2-1 record across the two days. Palomares would post a 2-1 record in singles flight 4.

Jose Pinto all picked up a singles victory, each going 1-2 in their respective flights.
Southeastern wraps up its fall season at Searcy, Ark., for the Great American Conference individual championships.
