EDMOND, Okla. – After compiling a team score of 44-over 324 in the first round, the Southeastern Oklahoma State women's golf program turned in a 27-over 307 on the final day to finish the 36-hole event 71-over 631.
Three GAC team's made up the top five, led by Harding, who finished second at 15-over 575 and were just edged out for first place by No. 15 Central Missouri (+13). No. 19 Henderson State finished in third place after turning in a 21-over 581, followed closely by Arkansas Tech at 22-over 582.
Karen Kim paced the SE lineup over the 36-hole event with a 12-over 152. The Richardson, Texas native shot 6-over 76 in the two rounds of play to finish tied for 59
th individually at the Par 70 course.
Lucy Handley concluded the two-round event tied for 85
th with a score of 17-over 157. Handley shot 12-over 82 on the first day before carding a 5-over 75 in the second round and would jump 19 spots on the player leaderboard to finish tied for 85
th.
Carley Button turned in a score of 20-over 160 across the 36 holes. Button shot 15-over 85 in the first round before seeing her best round of the event on day two, turning in a 5-over 75. The Denton, Texas native rose 16 spots on the individual leaderboard on the final day to place tied for 96
th.
Hailey Richard (T103

Hope Walthall (T111
th) finished the tournament 22-over 162 and 26-over 166, respectively. Richard turned in an 11-over 81 score in both rounds, while Walthall shot 15-over 85 in the first round before seeing an 11-over 81 in the second.
SE heads to Andover, Kan., for its next event on Oct. 14 and 15 at the Newman Invitational, hosted by Newman University.
