DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern rodeo closed out the regular season with both he men's and the women's programs posting second-place finishes at the Oklahoma Panhandle State Rodeo in Guymon, Okla.

The women has a pair of champions, with
Kayleah Hurst picking up the women's all-around title while
Casey Mathis won the barrel racing.

Meanwhile on the men's side,
Caleb Meeks picked up a championship in the saddle bronc riding.

Hurst qualified for the finals in the breakaway and the goat tying, first putting together a run of 2.5 in the breakway to split 1st/2
nd in the long-go before turning in a time of 8.5 in the goat tying to advance to the finals in fifth.

She would take a no time in the finals of the breakaway but posted an 8.4 in the goat tying which was good for fifth in the round and split 3
rd/4
th/5
th in the average.

Mathis opened her barrel racing weekend with a time of 17.49 in the long-go which was good for third place before coming back with the fastest time of the entire weekend in the event, clocking a 17.19 to win the finals and the average.

Mollie Basset posted a 17.66 in the first round to finish sixth and make the finals before clocking an 18.03 to finish eighth it the round and the average.

Avery Moyer qualified in seventh with a time of 17.70 but her horse was injured, and she would be forced to withdraw.

Hannah Giger was the fourth Storm rider to reach the finals, posting a 17.90 in the first round to qualify in 12
th before following it up with a time of 18.03 which was good for eighth in the round and the average.

Jillian Presley and
Kayla Earnhardt joined Hurst in the finals of the goat tying, with Presley finishing second in the first round on a run of 8.2 while Earnhardt was seventh with a run of 8.7.

Presley would come back in the finals with a time of 8.7 which finished seventh in the round and split with Hurst and one other for 3
rd-5
th, while Earnhardt turned in an 8.6 to finish sixth in the round and eighth in the average.

On the men's side, Meeks would put together a 79-point ride in the first round of the saddle bronc riding and win the round, advancing to the finals where he turned in a 72 to finish second in the round and would win the average.

In the bareback riding, Braden Tyrer posted a 63 in the first round to advance to the finals where he would turn in a 73.5 to finish first in the round and move up to second in the average.

Montana Duvall joined him in the finals, finishing second in the long-go on a ride of 70.5., but a 58 point ride in the finals would be good enough for sixth place, dropping him to fifth in the average.

Levi James and his roping partner from Murray State Garrett Hughes turned in a 7.8 in the first round of the team roping to make the finals, and once there would take a penalty for catching one foot, finishing with a 13.2 to place fifth in the round and third in the average.

Houston Stephens and KW Adair opened the event with a run of 11.0 before coming back with a 12.2 in the finals which was good for fourth in the round and moved them to fourth in the average.

Rodney Jackson put together a third place run in the first round of the steer wrestling with a time of 7.6 but took a no time in the finals.

Meanwhile, Ry Clark advanced to the finals on an 18.7 which was good for 12
th, but followed with an 11.2 which finished fifth in the round and seventh in the average.

Jackson would reach the finals in the tie down roping, finishing 12
th in the first round with a catch of 10.9. He would come back with an 11.5 in the finals which was good for seventh in the round and seventh in the average.
