DURANT, Okla. - On the heels of its third-straight Great American Conference championship, Southeastern women's tennis has earned the No. 6 seed in the Central Region and will head to Topeka, Kan., to take on third-seeded Missouri Western State in the NCAA Central Regional Tournament.
The Savage Storm enter the postseason with an 18-7 record after going 4-1 in GAC play during the season, earning hte top seed on its way to a third-straight conference title.

Southeastern is one of the hottest teams in the region after winning three-straight matches to pick up its second-straight GAC title.

The Storm closed out the regular season with a pair of wins at the conference tournament and overall has won 11 of its last 14 matchups.

Larissa Giraldi Correa picked up Great American Conference Newcomer of the Year honors, while
Georgia Hosking and
Vanessa Nitu were both first team all-conference selections, while
Amishi Shukla and
Milana Voloshyn were second team honorees.

Missouri Western State comes into the tournament with a 17-3 record on the year, with the winner between SE and MWSU advancing to face host and No. 2 seed Washburn in Topeka, Kan.
Nebraska-Kearney is the No. 1 seed and will hots the other side of the bracket, where No. 4 seed Northwest MIssouri State and No. 5 seed Augustana will open play.
