DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern rodeo is set to open competition at the College National Finals Rodeo where
Casey Mathis,
Laney Hoffman, and
Caleb Meeks will each make their run for a national championship beginning June 9 and running through June 15 in Casper, Wyo.

Mathis advanced to the CNFR as the Central Plains region champions in the Barrel Racing, winning the title by a 95-point margin over second place.

She is joined at the CNFR by Hoffman who served as the regional coordinator and earned an invite to compete in the Breakaway Roping.

On the men's side, Meeks makes his CNFR appearance in the Saddle Bronc Riding where he too was a Central Plains region champion, winning the region by 80 points over the second-place finisher.

All contestants will make three runs in their given event with the top finishers advancing to the CNFR finals on June 115 at 7 p.m.

Mathis makes her first ride in the barrels on June 10 during the 7 a.m. slack portion of competition, with her second run set for the next day during 7 a.m. slack on June 11. She will make her third run as part of the June 11 performance at 7 p.m.

Hoffman will open her competition in the breakaway roping on June 9 during the Bulls, Broncs, and Breakaway matinee at 1 p.m. in the afternoon. Her second run will be se3t for June 11 during 7 a.m. slack and her third outing will be on June 13 during the 7 p.m. performance.

Meeks opens his CNFR during the June 9 Bulls, Broncs, and Breakaway matinee at 1 p.m. and will turn in his second ride on June 11 during 7 a.m. slack. His final go is slated for the June 11 performance at 7 p.m.
