Savage Storm Return Home to Host In-State Rival OBU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to the friendly confines of Paul Laird Field where it will welcome its first in-state foe of the season as Oklahoma Baptist comes to Durant for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 21.
 
Southeastern fans can listen live via the Southeastern Sports Network on GoSoutheastern.com/SESportsNet or across the largest DII radio network in the area with Jay Lindly and Rob Johnson on the call. Local fans can pick up the game on 96.1 FM, while fans across southeastern Oklahoma and north Texas can pick up the games on 94.7 FM in Valliant, Okla., 97.7 in Ardmore, Okla., 99.5 in Rattan, Okla., 102.1 in Atoka, Okla., and 107.5 in Atoka.
 
The Savage Storm enter the contest with an0-2 record on the year following a 34-17 road loss to No.19 Henderson State.
 
OBU comes to town with a matching 0-2 record and is coming off a 59-7 loss to No. 1 Harding over the weekend.
 
The Storm offense is led on the ground by DJ Brown who has picked up 125 yards on 32 carries, while Ryan Hirt has logged a rushing TD.
 
Cergio Perez picked up his first career start last week and finished the contest with 145 yards and a touchdown passing on nine completions, and has tallied 245 yards and a score over a game and a half under center.
 
Matthew Nunez has a team-high seven receptions, including the one receiving score versus HSU, while Kobe Jennings and Victor Taylor each have touchdowns as well.
 
Gabe Corona leads the way in receiving yardage for SE with 121 yards on four catches, averaging 30.25 yards per catch.
 
Tyveon Williams lead the team and the league in tackles with 27 through two contests, while Braeden Winters is next in line with 18, while Michael Hookfin has snagged a pair of interceptions.
 
OBU is led by Kenny Rosenthal who has completed 50.0 percent of his passes for 328 yards and three touchdowns over two outings.
 
Nick Harris has been his top target, hauling in 12 grabs for 88 yards, while Charles Whitebear has a team-best two touchdowns.
 
EJ Moore leads the team on the ground with 47 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown.
 
Scooter Baker paces the Bisons defense with 27 tackles, while Jylun Spice is next up with 18.
