MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In the second meet of the season, the Southeastern Oklahoma State women's cross country program finishes second at the Rhodes Invitational.

The Savage Storm ended the event with a team score of 107, ten points better than third-place Division I Memphis. Arkansas State just edged out the Storm for first place with a combined score of 70. Rounding out the top five, Berry University and Centre posted team scores of 144 and 147, respectively. Â
Southeastern saw four top 20 individual finishes, led by
Ashlen Clem, who paced the side with a 6k time of 24:26.30 for a 19
th-place finish. Just behind,
Katlen Clem crossed the line in 20
th with a time of 24:27.01. Â

Anjelica Abraham was next to make it to the finish line for the Storm at 24:28.32 in 22
nd and was followed closely by
Alexis Longoria, who finished 23
rd with a time of 24:28.79.
Arden Kesterson placed 29
th at the 6k event with a time of 24:43.19, and
Rayla Castillo would cross the line shortly after in 36
th at 24:59.75.

Next to make it to the finish line for the Storm was
Calibre Keene at 25:11.14 in 45
th.
Genevi Martinez (70
th) and
Cassandra Vargas (82
nd) posted times of 26:09.04 and 26:39.41, respectively, for the morning race.

Andrea Lopez recorded a 27:08.65 for 90
th place, while
Devyn Doakes finished 91
st after crossing the line at 27:17.43.
Savannah Sandoval soon made it to the finish line at 27:34.64 in 96
th and was later joined by teammate
Aereonna Cardenas, who placed 123
rd with a time of 29:20.52. Rounding out the Storm lineup,
Delilah Roberts crossed the line at 31:57.37 to finish the event 146
th.

th at the Chili Pepper in Fayetteville, Ark., hosted by the University of Arkansas.
