FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In the third meet of the season, the Southeastern Oklahoma State women's cross country team places 20
th at the Chili Pepper meet.

A trio of SEC schools took the top three spots at the meet, led by Texas, who won the event with a team score of 42. SE finished just above GAC-foe Harding with 574 points in 20
th, while the Bisons scored 586 points as a team in 21
st place. Oklahoma Baptist and East Central completed the Chili Pepper in 15
th and 17
th place, respectively.

Ashlen Clem paced the Savage Storm team on Saturday morning with a time of 18:36.7 to finish 109
th individually. Next to cross the line. Anjelica Abraham and
Arden Kesterson placed 141
st and 142
nd with times of 19:14.7 and 19:16.7, respectively.

Southeastern would have four members finish within seconds of each other, beginning with
Rayla Castillo (161
st), who recorded a time of 19:39.9, followed by
Alexis Longoria, who finished at 19:41.8 in 162
nd.
Genevi Martinez and
Calibre Keene finished back-to-back at 19:44.9 and 19:46.1, respectively.

Katlen Clem registered a time of 19:59.6 to place 175
th, and
Cassandra Vargas was next to cross the line in 194
th place with a time of 20:30.1. Joining the pair at the finish line,
Savannah Sandoval (207) and
Devyn Doakes (214) tallied times of 21:01.3 and 21:18.2, respectively.

Cheyanne Gorman recorded a 21:36.0 to finish 220
th individually and was later joined by teammate
Aereonna Cardenas at 21:53.5 in 224
th. Rounding out the Southeastern lineup,
Andrea Lopez finished at 22:23.8, and
Delilah Roberts finished at 23:14.5.
