DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern closes out the road portion of its 2025 football schedule on Nov. 8 when it heads to Magnolia, Ark., to square off with Southern Arkansas at 2 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium at Rip Powell Field.

Southeastern comes into the contest with a 4-5 record on the season on the heels of a 21-20 loss to Henderson State while the Muleriders come in after dropping back-to-back outings, including a 44-22 loss to East Central last time out.

Saturday's matchup with Southern Arkansas marks the 49th matchup between the programs, making it the second-most played rivalry among the Arkansas schools in the GAC and the fifth most played among SE's current opponents.

The first meeting came in 1952 and the teams have met in every decade since. It is the program's most even series versus the Arkansas members of the conference, with a 6-7 record since joining the GAC in 20211 with neither team winning more than two games in a row in the series in that time.

SE has leaned heavily on its run game on the season and comes into the weekend ranked second in the GAC in rushing offense with 215.2 yards per game on the ground.

Levay Duncan leads that group with 523 yards on the ground with four touchdowns, while
Donovan Shannon has added 404 yards and three scores.

Johnathon Cobb Jr. is next in line with 333 yards and two touchdowns, while
Kameron Lockhart has turned in three scores and 255 yards while averaging 7.3 yards per carry.

The SE passing game is putting up 155.8 yards per game by committee as Duncan,
Luke Hohenberger, and
Colton Howard have each made passing contributions.

Duncan has racked up 700 yards and six touchdowns, while Hohenberger has 473 yards and four scores. Howard rounds out the trio with 213 yards and two TD's.

Shannon has been the team's top target with 16 catches, while
Victor Taylor Jr. leads the receiving corps with 227 yards on 15 grabs.

Taylor,
Gabe Corona, and
Jax Sternberger each have a pair of receiving touchdowns on the year.

The Storm defense has ranked among the league's best all season and enters Saturday's matchup ranked third in the conference in total defense, allowing 290.8 yards per game.

SE ranks second in the league in rushing defense and third in passing defense.

William Wallis leads the defense with 53 tackles on the year, including seven tackles for loss, while
Andrew Grissom is right behind with 50 to go with two fumble recoveries, one returned for a touchdown, and an interception.

SAU comes into the contest averaging 27.2 ppg on the year and putting up 398.7 yards per game.

The Muleriders have leaned slightly more on their rushing attack which is led by dual-threat QB Hezekiah Harris who has 593 yards and seven touchdowns on 106 carries this season.

He is followed by Arkez Gomez with 506 yards and three TDs, while Katrevion Thomas had six touchdowns and 346 yards on the season.

Harris has added 1,289 yards through the air with 10 passing touchdowns while averaging 143.2 yards per game.

DeAndra Burns has hauled in a team-high 33 catches for 314 yards and three touchdowns, while Kendall Williams has 30 grabs for 266 yards and two scores.

The defense is led by Kendrick Juniel who has tallied 60 tackles with two sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery.

Hunter Heweitt follows with 48 stops and a team-high 11 tackles for loss.
