Carol Mora was named the GAC Player of the Week after helping the Savage Storm to a flawless victory over Henderson State 7-0.

Against the Reddies, the senior from Ibaque, Colombia, went 2-0 in the match, winning at her doubles spot and singles position. Mora started the match with a 6-4 doubles win with partner
Jou Chen Chen at the No. 1, improving to 16-0 this season as a duo. Mora and Chen Chen rank 19
th as a doubles team in the latest ITA rankings with their undefeated mark.

Later in the match, the senior battled with HSU's Kristina Kozlova at court one, and Mora came out on top 6-2 and 7-5. In the second set, the Ibaque, Colombia native had to rally from 5-3 down, as she won four straight points to take the set. On the year, Mora holds a 9-6 record in singles, including a 9-3 mark in dual matches, with all nine wins coming at the No. 1 line.

SE (12-3, 2-0 GAC) heads back to the Sooner State for its next round of GAC action on Friday, Apr. 11, as the Storm host Arkansas Tech at 3 p.m. from the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
