Button Named Honorable Mention All-GAC and Elite Scholar

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Southeastern's Carley Button earned Honorable Mention All-GAC honors and was named an Elite Scholar Athlete for having a 4.0 GPA. In addition, Karen Kim made the GAC Academic Honor Roll with a 3.50 GPA or better.
 
Button posted six top 15 places individually over the regular season, including three top five finishes. Highlighting the year, the junior from Denton, Texas, closed out the season with a second-place finish at the Augustana Invitational, where she shot 8-over 152 in two rounds of play.
 
This season, Button was one of two players for Southeastern to earn GAC Player of the Week honors, joined by teammate Kim. Button's efforts helped the Savage Storm to seven top ten finishes as a team and five top five placements with a fourth-place finish at the Battle for the Belt and a second-place finish at the ABC Supply Invitational.
