DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern celebrated the 2025-26 sports season on Monday night with the 2026 Southeastern Choice award held at Choctaw Casino and Resort, recognizing a litany of honors including team MVP's, Scholar Athletes, and naming the finalists for the Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

The event was organized by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and was emceed by SAAC president
Kasey Simmons and vice-president
Abbie Barr.

A total of 13 student-athletes were named as finalists for the Athlete of the Year honors, seven women and six men.
