DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern opens the home stretch of the 2015 season looking to add to back-to-back wins as it plays three of its last four games at home, beginning with a Nov. 5 meeting with Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m., followed the next day with a Nov. 6 matchup against Northwestern Oklahoma State at 6 p.m., with both games being played in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

The Friday contest with NWOSU will also serve as senior night for
Jessica Baker who despite being a junior on the court will be graduating early and forgoing her final season of eligibility.

The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 6-19 record and a 4-8 mark in Great American Conference play which puts them in the eighth and final spot for the postseason tournament with four matches to play.

SE has a 2.5 game lead over Henderson State for the final spot and with a strong last two weeks and some help could climb as high as fifth as they sit two games behind a four-way tie for fifth at 7-6.

The Storm picked up a home win over Arkansas-Monticello and a road win over Southwestern Oklahoma State that completed a season sweep of the in-state rival.

SE continues to look to star freshman
Abby Jameson who is leading the offense with 3.63 kills per set, while
Julia Benford is coming off consecutive double-digit kill nights, including a season-best 22 against UAM. Â

Alissa Benson is averaging 9.25 assists per set while also adding 2.23 digs per set and 40 total blocks from the setter position.

Charlene Nerio leads the defense with 4.36 digs per set, while Jameson is next up at 2.70 per set.

At the net
Arianna Baker paces the club with 59 total blocks, while Benford has added 52.

SNU comes to town with a 13-15 overall record and a 9-4 conference mark but have lost two of their last three outings.

They are led on offense by McKenna Qualls at 2.79 kps, leading a trio of attackers with two-or-more kills per set. The offense is triggered by Elyse Berlin who is dishing out 9.65 assists per set.

Abbey Bell leads the defense with 5.26 digs per set, while McKayla Benner leads the team at the net with 77 total blocks.

The Rangers enter the weekend at 10-15 on the year and 7-6 in the league, but are just 2-13 in games played outside Alva, Okla.

Nora To'omalatai leads the team offensively with 3.39 kills per set, while Kaydee Yukawa is handing out a team-best 6.21 assists per set.

Natalie Fahey leads the team in blocks with 56, while Carley Greer leads the back row with 4.44 digs per set.
