SE Posts Four Top-10 Finishes at OBU

Shawnee, Okla. – Southeastern was paced by its relay teams as they posted two of the team's four top-10 finishes at the OBU Early Outdoor Invitational this past weekend.
 
The Savage Storm 4x400 meter relay team of Martie Shockley, Skye Summers, MaKaylah Britton, and A'Mya Powell turned in a second-place finish in its first run together, posting a time of 4:19.88, finishing second to host Oklahoma Baptist.
 
The 4x100 meter team posted a fifth place finish and shaved 2.17 seconds off its previous best mark, posting a time of 52.60.
 
Individually, Shockley continued her solid start with a time of 1:12.24 in the 400 meter hurdles which was good for 5^th place.
 
A'Mya Powell turned in her third-straight top-10 finish in the 200 meter run, clocking a new PR of 27.39 and finishing eighth.
 
In addition to the team's four top-10 finishes, the Storm had runners post five new personal bests.
 
The team returns to the track on March 22-23 for the Bobby Lane Invitational in Arlington, Teaxs.
