SE Wins Five Events at Crimson & Cream Qualifier

NORMAN, Okla. – Madison Rowe won two individual events and was part of a championship relay team, while Ashlen Clem and Calibre Keene each picked up event titles as the Southeastern posted 35 top-10 finishes at the Crimson and Cream Qualifier on Friday in Norman, Okla.
 
Rowe took home the top spot in the 400 meters with a run of 58.74 to win the event, with A'Daria Slay, Naiomi Rochelle, Uryaha Brown, and Sequoya McAdoo each posting top-10 finishes in the race.
 
She would also pace the 200 meters with a run of 25.66, while Taniya Burke followed with a run of 25.77 in second, with Camaella Achuo, Slay, and Ja'Marriah Powell each finishing in the top-10.
 
Clem posted a mile run of 5:19.70 to lead the field and earn the win, while Anahi Machuca, Keene, Lauren Garza, Naomi Cotero, Genevi Martinez, Aereonna Cardenas, Devyn Doakes, and Cassandra Vargas all finished in the top-10.
 
Keene clocked an 11:15.06 in the 3,000 meters to win the event, with Machuca, Doakes, Garza, Cardenas, Katlen Clem, Tatum Cross, and Sarah Coblentz each finishing top-10.
 
In the 4x400 meter relay, the foursome of Rowe, Slay, Brown, and Rochelle turned in a first-place finish with a time of 4:03.70, while the second grouping of McAdoo, Barrett, Achuo, and Fontenot posted a fourth-place finish.
