DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern hurdler
Madison Rowe will open competition in the 400 Meter Hurdles at the NCAA Division II National Championships in Emporia, Kan., when she fires off in heat one of the event at 7:55 p.m. on May 21.

The top two finishers from each of the three heats advance to the final as will the top two times beyond those six runners.

The finals in the 400 Meter Hurdles are slated for May 23 at 5:50 p.m.

Rowe, a senior from Arlington, Texas, becomes the second women's track and field athlete to qualify for the national finals, joining Macayla Needham who did so in 2024 in the shot put, and is the first track athlete to do so.

She set a school record in the 400 meter hurdles at the Great American Conference Championships where she won the event championship in a time of 59.39 which placed her in the top-20 nationally. She has posted four provisional qualifying times on the season, including the record mark.

Most recently she added USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors to her resume by posting one of the top-5 times in the Central region.
