DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern hurdler
Madison Rowe added to her 2026 honors by earning US Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association Central Region honors in the 400-meter hurdles on Wednesday.

The recognition comes on the heels of a berth to the NCAA Division II National Championships set for May 21-23 in Emporia, Kan.

Rowe, a senior from Arlington, Texas, becomes the second women's track and field athlete to qualify for the national finals, joining Macayla Needham who did so in 2024 in the shot put, and is the first track athlete to do so.

She set a school record in the 400 meter hurdles at the Great American Conference Championships where she won the event championship in a time of 59.39 which placed her in the top-20 nationally. She has posted four provisional qualifying times on the season, including the record mark.

The USTFCCCA honors the top-five times in each region with All-Region honors.
