DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern volleyball will open the home portion of its 2021 spring schedule on Feb. 2 when it welcomes Southern Nazarene to the newly renovated Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium for a 7 p.m. matchup.

Tuesday's home contest will NOT be open to the general public, and instead will be in accordance with the Great American Conference's policy regarding attendance which allows for a limited guest list for student-athletes and full time coaches. This policy allows a set number of four guests per athlete or coach and is limited to the home team only.

Guests on the pass list will be required to show an ID as well as wear a mask and practice social distancing while in attendance.

For fans who are not in a position to attend, the matches can be can be followed live on the Southeastern Sports Network online with Bob Sullins from Mix 96.1.

The Savage Storm open home play with an 0-1 record in GAC-Western Division play following a season-opening road loss at Oklahoma Baptist.

In that contest
Aleksandra Rodic led the SE offense with 13 kills, while
Skylor Lewis was next in line with nine.
Â
Ruthie Forson triggered the offense to the tune of 30 assists over three sets and collected a double-double in her first match out by adding 11 digs.

Defensively,
Grace Shehadeh led the back row with 20 digs, while Rodic added 12 to complete a double-double of her own, and Forson chipped in 11. Â

At the net, Forson and
Mya Afflerbach each collected a pair of blocks.

SNU comes to town with a 1-0 record on the year after a 3-2 win over Southwestern Oklahoma State and are led offensively by Sunny Batschelett, Breckynn Myers, and Jacy Braziel who each has 12 kills in their opener.

Myers put up 47 assists in the contest, while on defense Grace Miracle collected 21 digs and Batschellet picked up seven blocks.
