DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will aim to build on the momentum of its first win of the season when it sets out on a two-match road swing, first facing Southwestern Oklahoma State again in a 6 p.m. matchup on March 26 in Weatherford, Okla., before heading on to Alva, Okla., to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State at 3 p.m. on March 27.
 
The Savage Storm head into the trip with a 1-5 record on the season and in Great American Conference Western Division play following a 3-0 win over the Bulldogs on Tuesday.
 
SE setter 
Ruthie Forson continued to distribute the ball and fuel the offense on Tuesday, finishing with 30 assists while also adding 11 digs and four kills.
 
Her efforts were enough to earn her GAC Setter of the Week honors.
 
Skylor Lewis led the Storm on the attack versus SWOSU, finishing with a match-high 11 kills, while 
Aleksandra Rodic was next in line with nine and 
Jocelyn Grewing added six.
 
Defensively in the contest, 
McKenzie Turkoly led the back row with 24 digs while 
Grace Shehadeh turned in her third-straight 20-plus dig outing and her fifth our of six matches by adding 22. Forson and Rodic each added 11 digs, while Lewis finished with nine, with SE holding a 79-to-61 edge in digs as a team. 
Caroline Griffith collected three blocks, including a solo stop, while 
Jessie Steele also finished with three, with the team outblocking SWOSU 6.0-to-2.0.
 
Rodic leads the attack with 3.19 kills per set, while Lewis is just shy of that with 2.93 per set on the season.
 
Forson lifted her assists per game mark to 10.33 on the year while adding 1.62 kills per set on offense and 2.71 digs per set defensively.
 
Shehadeh paces the defense with 6.57 digs per set on the year, while 
Caroline Griffith has 13 blocks on the year.
