DURANT, Okla. – Beginning Oct. 19 and running through the 22, the PBR – Professional Bull Riders Camping Teams Championships kick off in Las Vegas, Nev., with Southeastern represented on a pair of the team's roster.
Caden Bunch will be riding for Oklahoma Freedom who is coached by Lane, Okla., Cord McCoy.
Bunch, currently in his second season with the Savage Storm, joined Oklahoma freedom last season but was released due to injuries. He returned following a few events this season and has had a great showing going into the team finals for Oklahoma Freedom.
Bunch has ridden nine of 14 bulls, with his 64% ride ratio propelling him into the active roster with protected rider status for Team Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Freedom team are 14-14 on the season and will square off against the Nashville Stampede (11-14) in the first round of competition on October 20th.
The championship is set up tournament style where the winning teams advance to the Championship round of competition Sunday, Oct. 22.
Bunch will be opting out of the OSU competition to this weekend to ride in The Camping Teams PBR Championships which can be viewed on CBS Sports Network the evenings of October 20th-22nd and on the PLUTO app.
Former SE standout Wyatt Rogers has earned a position as a reserve rider for the Kansas City Outlaws who enter the tournament as the two seed and will open its competition on Oct. 21 versus the second lowest remaining seed from round one.
Rogers last competed for Southeastern in 2021.
