DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern pauses GAC play for the final time this season, as they welcome UT-Dallas to Bloomer Sullivan Gym on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m.

SERIES NOTES
- This will be just the second time the two sides have played each other after first meeting in 2024. The Savage Storm won that contest 3-1 down in Richardson, Texas, with current member Alexis Williams helping lead the way with ten kills and 6.0 total blocks.

STORM REPORT
Southeastern suffered back-to-back defeats last week at home with Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist in town. The pair of losses put the blue and gold at 7-13 overall and 2-7 in the GAC standings at the halfway point of conference action. Heading into to the final non-conference match of the year, SE is 5-6 in contest outside the GAC.

Noelia Rocha posted her sixth double-figure kill match recently against Ouachita Baptist, slamming down ten kills for the fifth time this season. The San Antonio, Texas native ranks second on the team in kills, averaging 2.35 per set for 153 kills on the year. Southeastern carries a .185 attack average as a team and are averaging 12.3 kills per set, while opponents hold a slight edge at 12.8 per set.

Kylee Turner has slotted into the starting libero role for the Storm over the last six matches, and has quickly reached 166 digs, which ranks second on the team. Turner has tallied six straight double-digit digs matches, including 26 last time out against Ouachita Baptist. Just a few weeks ago, the Fort Worth, Texas native notched a career-high 36 digs against Southern Arkansas, which is the fourth most record in match this season across the GAC.

SCOUTING UT-DALLAS
The Comets come into 2025 competing as newly members of Division II, competing in the Lone Star Conference. UT-Dallas in its first full season as a DII member is 3-15 overall and 1-7 in the LSC and is looking to snap a six-match skid. The Comets lone conference win came back at the end of September against Cameron in a 3-2 win.

Jane Burkhardt leads the Comets attack with 2.99 kills per set for 200 total kills across 67 sets. The freshman reached double-digit kills in her last two matches, and has ten this season with six coming in her last ten appearances. Additionally, Burkhardt is second on the team in digs with 201, while Mari Hernandez paces the side with 4.66 digs per set for 317.
