SEARCY, Ark. – Southeastern claimed a singles title on the final day at the GAC Individual Championships, as
Milana Voloshyn won the Flight 2 title in a tiebreaker. Across the two days of play, SE picked up six singles wins and had three doubles victories.

Voloshyn's run to the Flight 2 finals began in the semifinals after a round-one bye, and the junior from Lviv, Ukraine, would defeat Roksana Kokocha from Southern Arkansas 6-2 and 6-4 to advance to the finals. Voloshyn met Arkansas Tech's Elis Gergel in the finals and fell behind in the match 6-4 in the first set, but would rattle off a 6-3 win in the second and won the tiebreaker 11-9 to capture the Flight 2 title.

In Flight 3 action,
Kseniya Zhdanok opened the round with a 6-3 and 6-3 victory over SAU's Isabella Lazzerini in the quarterfinals and followed with a 6-4 and 7-6 (7-3) win in the semifinals against Brooke Coffman from Harding. Zhdanok's title run would end in the finals in a 6-2 and 6-2 loss to Henderson State's Email Nowak.

Southeastern compiled three wins across doubles play, highlighted by the partnership of
Emilia O'Neill and
Amishi Shukla, who made it to the finals of Flight 2. The duo earned a first-round bye and would go on to defeat Karli Gay and Jennifer Pfaefflin from Ouachita Baptist in the quarterfinals 8-2. O'Neill and Shukla battled Arkansas Tech's Lucia Perez Hruba and Natalya Montoya in the finals, but would fall short 8-4 to the Golden Suns duo.
The Savage Storm concluded their fall portion of the 2025-26 schedule at the GAC Individual Championships and will resume action after the winter break with the start of dual matches, beginning with UT Dallas at home on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m.
