DURANT, Okla. - Following her efforts in Southeastern Track and Field's season-opening meet at the Washburn Alumni Invitational,
Madison Rowe has been named Great American Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Rowe turned in a school-record run of 25.09 in the 200 meters on her way to a 10th place finish in the stacked field.
She followed that performance with an eight-place performance int he 400 meters with a time of 58.91
Rowe and the Savage Storm track and field team will be back on the track Jan. 16 when they travel to Norman, Okla., for the Owen Hewett Invitational hosted by the University of Oklahoma.
