DURANT, Okla. – Southeaastern is set to open the 2025-26 Indoor Track and Field season on Dec. 6 when it treks to Topeka, Kan., to compete in the Washburn Alumni Invitational on Saturday, with field events beginning at noon and running events set to fire off at 1:30 p.m.

The Savage Storm heads into its third season of Indoor Track and Field competition and features a roster of 42 athletes, featuring 11 seniors, three juniors, five sophomores, and 23 freshmen.

SE athletes hail from five different states, including Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Illinois.

Southeastern concluded the 2025 outdoor track and field season with a sixth-place finish at the GAC Championship May, posting 11 All-Conference performances, with
Madison Rowe and
Katlen Clem combining for five to lead the way.

The Storm return a trio of athletes who posted the top indoor times in their events last season, led by Rowe who clocked top times in the 200 meters, 400 meters, and 600 yards.

Katlen Clem turned in the top time in the 800 meters during the indoor season while Anjelika Abraham was the team's top 3,000 maters time last season.

In all, five athletes who earned outdoor All-GAC honors make their return, including Rowe and Clem who are joined by
Camaella Achuo who featured in two relay teams.

The trio of runners is joined by
Emma Berry and
Kaitlyn Ervin who picked up honors in the throws, including a school record discus toss for Berry.

After opening the outdoor season on Dec. 6, the Storm will have just over a month between events until it returns to the track on Jan. 16 for the Owen Hewett Invitational in Norman, Okla, hosted by Oklahoma.

SE will follow with four more indoor meets before looking to qualify for the NCAA DII Indoor National Championships in Virginia Beach, Va., March 13-14.
