DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set for its last regular season indoor meet as it makes a return trip to Pittsburg, Kan., for the Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic Feb. 14-15.

Friday's action will start at 2 p.m. (CST) with events going off until 8:30 p.m. Day two action gets underway at Noon Saturday. More than 1,200 athletes from 42 schools from the junior college, NAIA, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division I ranks.

Ashlen Clem led Southeastern last time out by setting a solo school record and sharing a relay school record, while
Calibre Keene set a new school record as well at the FasTrak Collegiate Challenge in Houston, Texas.

In addition,
Samantha Wallis turned in a third-place throw in the shot put, tossing 13.55 meters which is a career-long for her and the fourth longest toss in SE's indoor history.

She followed it up with a fourth-place finish in the weight throw, logging a toss of 15.81 meters which is the second best of her career and fifth best in SE indoor history.

On the season, Southeastern features 16 marks that rank in the GAC top 10, with six others in the top five and four in the top-three.

The 4x400 mater relay foursome of
Ashlynn Pitts,
Camaella Achuo,
Inayah Caldera, and
Andrea Lopez currently hold the second-best time among conference competitors with s run of 3:58.30.

The Storm ranks second in the distance medley relay with
Alexis Longoria,
Ashlen Clem,
Katlen Clem, and Anjelica Abraham posting a time of 12:56.57.

Among the field events, Wallis continues to rank in the top-three in the Great American Conference in both the shot put and the weight throw, holding second in the shot put with a toss of 13.55 meters, and third in the weight throw on a mark of 16.20 meters.
