DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern track and field is set to make its first southern trek of the season hen it travels to Houston, Texas for the FasTrak Collegiate Challenge held at Yeoman Fieldhouse at the University of Houston on Saturday, Feb. 8.

For the first time this semester the team will be competing on a Saturday instead of a Friday, with the field events starting at 9:30 a.m. and the running events set for a noon start.

Last trip out at the JD Martin Invite,
Samantha Wallis won both of her events and
Mildred Medina set a school record while winning the high jump.

Madison Rowe picked up a win in the 800 meters while Anjelica Abraham earned a win in the 3,000 meters.

Wallis continues to rank in the top-three in the Great American Conference in both the shot put and the weight throw.

In all, SE features five top-five marks on the conference performance list and 16 which rank in the top-10.
