LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Southeastern had 10 point-scoring performances and finished the Little Rock Invitational with 40 points and a sixth-place team finish as the event wrapped up on Saturday evening in Little Rock, Ark.

The Savage Storm will take the track one more time before the Great American Conference Championship Meet when it treks to Pittsburg, Kan., for the Pitt State Tune Up April 19.

Southeastern saw a trio of scorers in the 3,000-meter steeplechase led by
Katlen Clem who posted a fourth-place finish with a time of 11:31.88, the fastest time in the event for Southeastern this season and the second fastest in school history.

Calibre Keene picked up points in the event as well, clocking a run of 12:10.12 which was good for sixth, while
Genevi Martinez followed with a time of 12:51.00 to finish eighth and pick up a point.

Madison Rowe turned in a third-place finish on Friday afternoon in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 1:02.41, a season-best mark for the season in the event and the third-best mark in school history.

Rowe was joined by
La'Najah Ticey,
Tailyn Higginbotham, and
Ashton Carter as the group clocked a 3:50.42 in the 4x400 meter relay, finishing third with the fastest time of the season for the Storm and the fourth-best time in school history.

Southeastern's 4x100 meter relay squad of
Ashton Carter,
Camaella Achuo,
Jaiden Leighton, and Rowe posted a 48.28 which was good for a fourth-place finish.

Clem led the Storm in the 1,500 meters as she clocked a 4:48.28 to finish fifth and post the fastest time in the event this season for SE and the second fastest effort in school history.

Emma Berry and
Savannah Sandoval posted top-five finishes in the javelin on Saturday. Berry led the duo with a 28.33-meter throw to finish fourth while Sandoval was next in line with a 26.53-meter throw to finish fifth.

Berry added an eighth-place finish in the discus to pick up points in a second event, turning in a toss of 36.45 meters
