DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern rodeo closed out the 2024-25 regular season with a bang as the men and women each took home team titles at the Oklahoma Panhandle State Rodeo in Goodwell, Okla.

The victories solidified both program's second-place regional finishes, earning them team entry to the College National Finals Rodeo June 15-21 in Casper, Wyo.
Â
Rowdy Nimrod turned in a men's all-around championship to lead the way for the Storm men, while
Emma Ricke matched that effort on the women's side.

In the bareback riding,
Luke Thrash picked up an event title by winning the average following a first round ride of 71 which was good for second place, followed by a 79 in the finals which split 1
st/2
nd.

Braden Tyrer was right behind in second place in the average after posting a first round 66.5 before matching Thrash int eh finals with a 79.

Tyler Griffin checked in third with a first round ride of 67 which was good for fourth, followed by a 77.5 in the finals to finish third in the round.
Â
Colton Matlock was the fourth rider to make the finals, finishing seventh in the first round with a 53-point ride before turning in a 63 in the finals to finish sixth in the round and the average.

Blake Carter turned in his fourth-straight win in the tie down roping, opening the event with an 11.6 to finish sixth in the first round before coming back with a 9.6 in the finals, winning the round and moving up to the top spot in the average.

Nimrod picked up his first all-around points in the tie down as he split 3
rd/4
th in the first round with a run of 10.4, but took a no time in the finals.

Jarvis Demrey suffered a similar fate as he was fifth in the first round on a run of 10.8 before taking a no time in the finals.

In the saddle bronc,
Caleb Meeks kicked off the first round with a 72.5 to finish second and followed with a 76.5 in the finals to finish third in the round and runner-up in the average.

Cole Beasley was next in line with a fifth-place finish in the first round on a ride of 71 before posting a 63 in the final to finish fifth in the round.
Â
Brett Coffman rounded out the trio of finals qualifiers with a 70 in the first round to finish sixth before taking a no score in the finals.

The team roping duo of
Cutter Cain and his partner Jordan Lovins from Western Oklahoma State split 1
st/2
nd in the opening round with a time of 6.7, but a no time in the finals dropped them out of the average.

Nimrod partnered with
Hannah Giger to pick up team roping points as the pair made the finals on an 8.9 in the first round to finish ninth before coming back with a 20.8 in the finals to finish fifth in the round and the average.

Nimrod tacked on his final points in the steer wrestling where he finished 10
th in the first round on a run of 14.3 to make the finals where he turned in a 5.4 to win the round and move to fourth place in the average.
Â
Demrey also advanced to the finals, but did not place.
Â
Jaiden Wilmoth picked up a barrel racing event championship in the season finale as she logged a 17.79 in the first round to win it and followed with a 17.59 in the finals which was good for second while maintaining her top spot in the average.

She was joined in the finals by Ricke who clocked a 17.85 in the first round to finish third and followed it up with a time of 18.19 to finish fifth in the finals and fourth in the average.

Laney Hoffman also made the finals after an 18.06 that earned her fifth place in the first round before turning in an 18.22 in the finals to finish sixth in the round and fifth in the average.

Ricke picked up her other points in the goat tying where she was third in the first round with a time of 8.4 before clocking an 8.9 in the finals to finish fifth in the round and third in the average.

She was joined in the finals by Giger who split 4
th/5
th in the first round on a time of 8.5 before posting a 10.2 in the finals to finish ninth in the round and eighth in the average.
