NORMAN, Okla. – Southeastern traveled to Norman, Okla, and took on Division I competition and adverse weather conditions at the John Jacobs Invitational on Thursday at the John Jacobs Track and Field Complex hosted by the University of Oklahoma.

The Savage Storm picked up five points in the meet, the first team-scored meet of the outdoor season, finishing 15
th.

Madison Rowe turned in the best finish of the day as she put up a 25.09 in the 200 meters which was good for sixth in the race and was the sixth-best 200-meter run in school history.

She would also add a ninth-place finish in the 400 meters.

Mildred Medina was the only SE athlete to score in two events, clearing 1.51 meters in the high jump to finish eighth while adding an eighth place finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18.03. Both marks ranked in the top-20 all time at SE in those events.

Katlen Clem missed the top 10 in the 1,500 meter run, but was able to turn in the second best time in SE history as she clocked a 4:51.64 which was good for 16
th.

Southeastern track and field will be back in action on April 11-12 at the Little Rock Invitational in Little Rock, Ark.
