Durant, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State had four named to the All-GAC team, as
Emilse Ruiz and
Milana Voloshyn earned First Team honors, and
Jou Chen Chen and
Sara Gonzalez received Second Team recognition.

Amishi Shukla and Voloshyn.
In her first season wearing the blue and gold, Ruiz compiled a 10-3 record during the regular season in singles play. The junior from Bella Vista, Argentina, primarily played at the No. 3 spot for the Storm, where she carried a perfect 7-0 mark, including wins against Henderson State and Harding. In doubles play, Ruiz held a record of 13-2 and went unbeaten in the regular season with partner Shukla at the No. 3 line, going 13-0.
Voloshyn worked a 15-7 singles record this season, playing mostly at the No. 2 position, and was 3-0 when playing at court one. The sophomore's 22 appearances in singles are the second most on any one on the team, and her 15 wins are the second-most for any Storm player this season. Voloshyn featured in nine doubles matches and was 1-0 in GAC play, earning a 6-4 win at the No. 3 spot against then No. 39 Southern Arkansas.
Chen Chen ranked as high as No. 10 in the ITA Doubles ranking with partner
Carol Mora and has recorded a 22-6 doubles record. The Tainan, Taiwan native's 22 wins in the most by any player for SE on the year, while featuring at the No. 1 line in all but one match this season. In addition, Chen Chen leads the side with 16 singles wins and finished a perfect 3-0 record in conference play.
Gonzalez capped off her final year with Southeastern with 27 wins across singles and doubles play. The senior from Guatemala City, Guatemala, captured 12 singles wins, including four from GAC play, capped off by a win in the Harding match at court six. In doubles play, Gonzalez has picked up 15 victories, with eight coming with partner
Tania Sfilio, who holds an 89 percent win record when playing together.
