SHAWNEE, Okla. –
Katlen Clem and
Madison Rowe combined for five individual All-Great American Conference finishes to lead Southeastern to a sixth-place finish at the 2025 GAC Championships on Friday afternoon in Shawnee, Okla.

The Savage Storm finished with 39 points to earn sixth place, needing its fourth-place finish in the final event of the meet, the 4x400 meter relay, to pass Southern Nazarene for the position.

Over the three days of competition, Southeastern picked up 12 All-GAC honors and set four new school records.
Â
In addition to on track honors, Southeastern also featured a GAC Elite Scholar Athlete honoree in
Emma Berry as well as seven members pf the GAC Academic Honor Roll.

Day 3
Â
The 4x100 meter relay squad of Je'Mela Harris,
Camaella Achuo,
Alana Fontenot, and
Mildred Medina picked up the first All-GAC honors of Championship Friday for the Storm as the foursome turned in a sixth-place finish with a run of 49.62.

Katlen Clem turned in her second All-GAC and school record outing an event later as she clocked a run of 4:41.91 in the 1,500 meters to finish sixth and best the school record by nearly six seconds.

SE picked up a pair of all-conference performances in the 400 meters as
La'Najah Ticey turned in a 57.72 to finish sixth and edge out teammate
Madison Rowe who was in seventh with a run of 57.77.

Clem added a third All-GAC performance with an eighth-place finish in the 800 meter with a time of 2:29.41.

Rowe followed with her second all-conference performance as she posted the team's best finish of the weekend with a second-place run in the 400 meter hurdles, clocking a 1:02.11.

Emma Berry set a school record in the discus, breaking a record set in 1996 with a throw of 40.38 meters on her way to a sixth-place finish in the event.

The 4x400 meter relay squad of Rowe, Ticey,
Andria Williams, and
Camaella Achuo posted a fourth-place finish with a run of 3:55.40, earning All-GAC honors in the meet's finale event.

Day 2

Southeastern picked up its first team points of the weekend as a pair of throwers posted all-conference performances in the hammer throw.
Â
Kaitlyn Ervin led the group with a fifth-place finish on a throw of 44.93 meters, followed by
Mariana Mendez who was in sixth with a throw of 42.35 meters.

Emma Berry and
Khareah Horton just missed scoring but rounded out the top 10 with Berry throwing 39.50 meters to finish ninth and Horton turning in a toss of 37.97 meters to finish 10
th.

On Thursday afternoon
Madison Rowe and
La'Najah Ticey each reached the finals of the 400 meters.
Â
Rowe clocked a school record 55.29 to finish third in the prelims, while Ticey advanced in eighth n a run of 55.29.

Katlen Clem reached the finals in the 800 meters after turning in a run of 2:14.98 to finish eighth in the prelims.
Â
Rowe turned in her second school record run of the day when she clocked a 1:00.60 to finish second in the prelims and advance to Friday's final.
Â
Clem closed out Thursday's running events by posting a school record outing in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, earning All-GAC honors with a fifth-place finish on a time of 11:16.45.

The opening day of the GAC Championship meet was relatively quiet for the Storm as
Emma Berry turned in a 12
th place finish in the javelin with a throw of 29.30 meters to lead the Storm in the event.
Â
The only other action featuring SE athletes saw
Mildred Medina and
Kelsey Sawyer complete the 100 meter hurdles, the high jump, the shot put, and the 200 meters in the heptathlon, with Medina turned in her best finish of the day in the high jump with a fifth-place outing, while Sawyer was fourth in the 100 meter hurdles.
