BRANDI ROBINSON-McWILLIAMS was a power forward on Hall of Fame coach Nick Keith’s 2001-02 team that upset long odds and reached the finals of the NCAA Division II Women’s National Basketball Tournament.
 
Robinson-McWilliams transferred to Southeastern after two years at Southwest Missouri State University and a standout high school career at Atoka.
 
She started all 64 games in her two-year career for the Blue and Gold and set the Southeastern single-season record for most free throw attempts with 197 in her senior season.
 
Robinson-McWilliams also established the school career record for field goal percentage at 60.2, and would climb single season and career lists in multiple categories
 
The height of which may be her career-total 1,178 points for an average of 18.4 per game and boosted that average to 19.4 in her senior campaign, and thus becoming the sixth player in program history to score 1,000 career points and is ranked No. 3 all-time.   
 
Robinson pulled down 402 career rebounds, and added 132 career steals, 121 assists, 33 blocks.
 
As a senior, she was named Women’s DII All America, the only Lone Star Conference player named to any of the four All-America teams. She was twice named to the All-Lone Star Conference North Division and All-Region first teams. She added LSC-North Player of the Year honors as a senior.
 
In her two seasons, Southeastern twice earned NCAA Division-II tournament berths, reaching the Elite Eight once and advancing to the National Tournament finals in 2001-02.
 
She became the tournament’s all-time leading scorer with 141 points in six games for the Lady Savages, including her career high of 34 points which came in the national semifinals against South Dakota State.
 
Robinson-McWilliams, through her efforts on and off the court, excelled to a level that brings great honor to Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  The University honors her today, August 18, 2018, with membership in the Southeastern Oklahoma State Athletics Hall of Fame.
