Southeastern Athletics Hall of Fame
The list of athletes who have competed in two sports at Southeastern is a fairly long one, however The number of athletes who have been as dominant in both sports as Pete Spratt is significantly smaller.

Sherman, Texas, was a two-sport standout for Southeastern, writing his name in the record books for both football and track and field between 1992 and 1996.

On the football field, he was an All-America selection in 1995 as well as the OIC Offensive Player of the Year and a three-time All-OIC honoree at wide receiver while helping the Savages to a 1994 OIC Championship and a berth in the Aztec Bowl. He would set Southeastern’s all-time career receiving mark in 1995 and his 2,336 yards still ranks as the fourth-best mark in school history. His 1,009 yards in 1995 ranks as the fourth-best single season

On the track he was just as dominant, earning six OIC Individual event conference championships while qualifying three times for the NAIA National Meet, twice in the long jump (1995 & 1996) and once as part of the 4x100 meter relay team (1996).

He would set school record in the long jump and triple jump, and was a member of the school record setting 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter relay teams.

Following his playing career, Spratt would go on to collect 25 wins over his time as an MMA fighter, including an impressive 8-1 start to his career.

He would headline fights across the country as well as Canada, Japan and Brazil over an active fighting career that spanned from 1999 through 2013.
